Jo A. Latimore, Ph.D.

I serve as a Lake, Stream, and Watershed Management Outreach Specialist in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife. I work closely with Michigan State University Extension and Michigan Lake and Stream Associations to promote stewardship of aquatic resources. I am particularly interested in volunteer monitoring of Michigan's streams and lakes, community-based approaches to watershed management, and improving our understanding of aquatic ecosystem health by monitoring responses to disturbance.
