Software Support

To deliver the most effective and efficient service possible, FW IT has updated the list of supported offered at Fisheries and Wildlife. Beginning, Fall 2007 this list of software will be used by FW IT Staff to guide their responses to support requests. These standards will help to preserve and maximize the usability and supportability of the hardware and software that is already widely used on campus. These standards are not mandatory. However, adhering to them will ensure that users have a known source of support at Fisheries and Wildlife.

The tables below detail the support status and recommendations for software by FWIT. Note that new versions of software are released frequently by vendors, and the recommendations and support status information listed below are current as of the date this page was last updated, moreover if a vendor drops support for software, FW IT will continue to support that product with an upgrade option that may incurred a cost to the end user.
