Department Calendar

Overview

FWIT is working towards building a department level Calendar System for Faculty, Staff and Students. The new calendar system will be available to anyone in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife, which can be private or public to all or to just a few. The calendar can synchronize with Microsoft Outlook, Palm Desktop and also any handheld devices like Palm.

Microsoft Exchange Server is most likely to be introduced by FWIT sometime in the near future for Calendaring. Users maybe interested in Google Calendar.

In brief it will allow for :

• Multiple people to view a single calendar.
• A group to share personal or group calendars.
• A facility to have it's own calendar for events.
• You can synchronize your Palm Pilot to it for backups and sharing.
• You can use it for your website's calendar.
