Biography: I recently completed my Bachelor’s degree at Florida Institute of Technology where I double majored in Marine Biology and Conservation Biology & Ecology. I am particularly interested in the effects of habitat alteration and climate change on fish population dynamics and community structure, as well as how these factors are accounted for in fishery management strategies. I have always been fascinated by fish and fishing - I learned to fish pretty much as soon as I learned to walk. While studying in Florida, I earned my SCUBA certifications, so I could observe fish in their natural surroundings. Although the waters here in Michigan are a little chillier than in Florida, I hope to get at least a few dives in before everything freezes over. Once it does, I will still be out, ice fishing.
