    The MSU Fisheries and Wildlife Graduate Student Organization welcomes Dr. Sharon Gill, associate professor in Biological Sciences at Western Michigan University. Dr. Gill will present a seminar entitled “On songs and soundscapes: effects of anthropogenic noise on natural sounds”. 

     

  • Seminar: Historical and Current Status of Sea Otters in South-central Alaska

    The MSU Fisheries and Wildlife Graduate Student Organization welcomes Dr. Elizabeth D. Tobin, postdoctoral researcher at the Juneau Center, School of Fishery and Ocean Science, University of Alaska, Fairbanks. Dr. Tobin will present a seminar entitled “Historical and current status of sea otters (Enhydra lutris) in south-central Alaska.

    The MSU Fisheries and Wildlife Graduate Student Organization welcomes Dr. Robert Lonsinger, assistant professor of Wildlife Ecology at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Dr. Lonsinger will present a seminar entitled “For fox sake: intraguild predation drives desert fox spatial dynamics”.

    The MSU Fisheries and Wildlife Graduate Student Organization welcomes Dr. Robert Hughes, professor in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife at Oregon State University. Dr. Hughes will present a seminar entitled “Biological Assemblage Conditions of Streams and Reservoirs in Brazil: Conservation and Management Implications”. 

  • Small Animals Day

    Join us to milk a cow, watch horse races, hold a baby chick and meet other animals! No farm tours will be given this year.
